| After our Harlem adventure, I heard that the Santas were headed to Katz's Deli, in my East Village neighborhood. So I bolted onto the A train, with a few renegade Santas who also badly needed to pee, and took my dinner break at home. I rejoined the Santas swarming about this Orchard Street bar, and then joined in the walk to Washington Square Park to experience Phil Kline's Unsilent Night. I didn't get any good pix of Unsilent Night this year, check out Unsilent Santas my Flash movie from 2002. |

| It was too crowded for me to push my way in, but Santa Clown managed to pries the lens of my camera through the door. |
